Celebrations rocked Wang'uru Stadium in Kirinyaga County when Deputy President William Ruto arrived at the stadium ready as different dignitaries clapping and waving at his despite his Political differences with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Among the dignitaries who have so far attended include One Kenya Alliance principals, ODM leader Raila Odinga, Speakers of National Assembly and the Senate, different Senators and Governors and different Members of Parliament.
Malawi President Hon Lazarus Chakwera, the Malawi first lady Mrs Monica Chakwera, Eugene Wamalwa, Joe Mucheru, Karancha Kibicho, Rift Valley regional commissioner George Natembeya among other leaders.
According to Cate Waruguru who is the Laikipia Woman Representative said that President Uhuru Kenyatta has a lot of work to do today with politics likely to take place. According to Waruguru, Uhuru Kenyatta should answer in his speech being that this will be his last cellebration as the president why curfew and economic roadblocks Kenyans are facing still exist despite Uhuru's promises to Kenyans.
