Mulembe Nation MP Aspirant Wishes Kenyans a Happy Utamaduni Day

Monday October 11th was declared a public holiday to celebrate the UTAMADUNI day. Interior CS Fred Matiang'i said.

In line with the provisions of Section 2 and 4 of the Public Holidays Act (Cap 110), it is confirmed that October 11 will be a public holiday by dint of Utamaduni Day falling on Sunday October 10.

CS Fred Matiang'i emphasized the need for all citizens to recognise and celebrate the rich cultural diversity of Kenya in a manner that promotes unity, national cohesion, and economic progress.

Navakholo sub-county MP aspirant Hon. Stanely Waiswa was the first to wish all Kenyans a happy Utamaduni day ahead and urged all Kenyans to continue dwelling in peace, Love and Unity.

He is a retired principal of Sivilie Secondary School who has declared his interest to replace the underperfoming incumbent Hon Emmanuel Wangwe in the next general elections.

The Secondary has been producing best results in the entire sub county under his management.

Teacher Waiswa was the Chairman of games and sports in Kakamega County and Western Region at large for 6 years and the vice chairman nationally. He was also voted wholeheartedly by Principals as their organising secretary for five years.
