In last year's general election, there was split in IEBC between the team led by IEBC Chair Wafula Chebukati and that of Vice Chair Juliana Cherera over the final Presidential results. As a result of disagreement, Cherera's team pulled out leaving only Chebukati to release the results which was not an easy task for him.
Under high level security, the final released the results announcing Ruto the fifth President. And now the President has promised that the story behind eruption of chaos during the release of the final results will never go untold. "I want to promise you the story of the Bomas will be told one day, " he said.
The UDA leader described the scene as the attempt to overturn the will of the people. The President says that he is going slowly to ensure that we as a country comes out of this mess. Ruto did not disclose how those who were behind Bomas chaos will be subjected to. But it seems the William Ruto is planning something for all who planned and participated in the chaos.
