The member of Parliament for Nyando Constituency Jared Okello has affirmed that the Azimio leader Raila Odinga wants a handshake with president William Ruto. According to him, Gachagua has however placed a serious barrier and that's why the opposition is pushing hard to have him soften his stance.

Jared Okello is clear that what happened to Ruto after the handshake in the August 9th polls is what makes Gachagua extremely worried. He has urged Gachagua not to oppose an inclusive government because that's what will take Kenya to the next level.
