The 2022 presidential race is predicted to be toughest considering the number of individuals who have declared their interest for seat and their influence.
Several predictions and opinion polls are also being conducted to determine the person with the higher chances of winning the race.
The businessman, Jimi Wanjigi is among the top contenders for the top seat. He is doing all it takes to ensure he gets enough support so as to be given the opportunity to fly the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) flag.
He is battling it out with the former prime minister Raila Odinga and the Mombasa county governor Ali Hassan Joho who is the deputy party leader of the ODM.
Speaking on TV 47 this morning, governance expert Kevin Osido noted that Jimi Wanjigi stands a better chance of being fronted by the ODM party as their 2022 presidential candidate than all his competitors.
"Jimi Wanjigi stands a chance to be the person the Orange Democratic Movement party will front as their presidential candidate," he said.
He further predicted that Jimi Wanjigi also stands better chances of being the person the Jubilee party could also support if he manages to win the ODM party ticket.
"Chances that Jimi Wanjigi will be the candidate that the Jubilee party will also buy into are quite high," he added.
