Raila Odinga's charm offensive tour of the mountain seems to grow with each passing day. Today his meeting with mount Kenya leaders has attracted over ten legislators who openly endorsed a Raila Odinga presidency for the next presidential bid which is only months ahead.
Taking the microphone to introduce the team, Kanini Kega who was among the attendees of the meeting exuded confidence that more legislators will join the team from the Mount Kenya region. From his speech, the Leaders include Kanini Kega and Peter Kimani from Thika.
Others present included Maoka Maore from Meru, Mercy Gakuya from Kasarani, and Joseph Ngugi from Gatanga among others. Others present included Former members of Parliament Peter Kenneth and Peter Weru former Mathira legislator. Raila has continued to make inroads in the Mount Kenya region which has continued to attract presidential hopefuls who have frequented the region to seek votes.
