The United Democratic Alliance party led by Deputy President William Ruto are busy rallying for Hustler Nation empowerment as well as the DP's 2022 Presidential bid.

The UDA team are still in their six days tour in the Coastal region with today's meeting being in Nyali Constituency, Kongowea market and other areas.

Several allies of Deputy President William Ruto who usually don't miss such events were present with the team, but former Kakamega County Senator Boni Khalwale was not present in the tour today.

Taking to his Twitter podcast, Boni Khalwale confirmed he was elsewhere busy with his personal issues as he had attended a burial ceremony of one of the prominent people in Kakamega.

"Timothy Sembeya, former chairman of the defunct Kakamega County Council was today laid to rest in Kongoni in Likuyani in Kakamega County. Together with Prof Kutima, Deputy Governor, and a host of MCAs, joined family & friends to give my last respects. RIP mukhongo." Boni Khalwale wrote.
