Reasons Why Honourable Raila Odinga Might Emerge the President of the Republic of Kenya (Opinion)

In 2022, 9th, August, general elections will conducted in our beloved country. There are many potential presidential candidates in this country i.e DP William Samoei Ruto, Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia Mudavadi and others. But, among them, there is Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga whom I speculate that he might Emerge as the winner of the presidential elections in 2022.

First , His close relationship/ intimacy with President Uhuru Kenyatta. This closeness tells much. President Uhuru Kenyatta is now fully famous in the country, if he will decide to support Raila Odinga then the masses of people will move from other presidential candidates to Raila Odinga. Again, their closeness, might have been like a class where President Uhuru teaches Raila on how the State house is run and organized.

Secondly, The former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has the great political experience. He has lost several presidential elections, in 2007, he lost against Former President Mwai Kibaki , 2013 and 2017 he lost against Hon. Uhuru Kenyatta. This proves that he has experience and he has learned more on what he must do inorder to win the presidential elections in 2022.

Thirdly, Raila Odinga has gained fame in the whole country. Everyone knows him as a political pillar. The time when he was a vibrant opposition leader, he exposed some corruption scandals like The Euro Bond. Through this, he got to be known by many Kenyans. This is very important because you cannot win elections when people don't know you.

Lastly, Raila Odinga has friends from other parts of this country beside the Luo Nyanza as his strong hold. Right now, if he can manage to bring back Kalonzo Musyoka, Moses Wentangula, Musalia Mudavadi and Hassan Joho together, the coalition will be very strong and they might win easily this time round.

Raila Odinga is still strong politically and people seems to be loving him.
