The political battle between Raila Odinga and deputy president William Ruto is tightening with only 8 months to the next polls. In hunt of votes, DP Ruto today toured Kirinyanga County hosted by Anne Waiguru and Women Representative Wangui Ngirici where he joined congregants and later made several stops over to acknowledge greetings from hustlers.
Considerably, Raila Odinga on the other hand spent his Sunday afternoon.in Nairobi where he met hundreds of voters.
What caught the attention of hustlers are things that DP Ruto said while addressing residents in Kirinyanga. William Ruto made the hustlers happy by confidently unveiling one of his major plans once he ascends to power next year.
The second in command revealed that he would provide milk coolers to dairy to enable them to store milk safe for future sale. The provision of coolers to dairy farmers in Kirinyanga is one project that has excited many hustlers in the region. The farmers incur losses due to a lack of coolers that could keep their milk safe.
DP Ruto may be strongly kicking Raila Odinga out of the mountain with his mega projects. However, Raila Odinga is yet to unleash his political big guns to horn down William Ruto.
To sum up, Ruto promised to give dairy farmers in Kirinyanga milk coolers to help cut extend of losses. These Ruto's projects quickly put a smile on the faces of hustlers in Kirinyanga boosting his chances of outshining Raila Odinga.
