Billionaire Mary Wambui's 2.5 Billion Tax Evasion Case Dropped

Over the past few months, cases involving high profile members of President William Ruto administration have been dropped under unclear circumstances raising eyebrows across the country.

The Deputy President of Kenya had his cases dropped and he is about to receive back his 200 million shillings from the Assets Recovery Authority as per the reports that we have with us.

The Cabinet Secretary, Aisha Jumwa had her murder case dropped as well in the past few days by the Director of Public Prosecutions, Noordin Haji.

This morning, according to the available reliable reports that we have with us from the courts, billionaire businesswoman, Mary Wambui has had her case dropped by the court as well.

The Court has withdrawn a 2.5 billion shillings tax evasion case against the flamboyant businesswoman.

The case that has been in court for the past few months has been dropped this morning according to the reports that we have with us.

Billionaire Mary Wambui who was charged alongside her daughter who is known as Purity Mungai have something to smile about the new year.

The reports intimate that the two will now be free of the charges of tax evasion that had been levelled against them by The State.

Mary Wambui was recently appointed by President William Ruto to serve as the head of the Communications Authority of Kenya.

The latest move by the court puts into perspective the way in which cases have been dropped in the past few months.
