The Court has withdrawn a 2.5 billion shillings tax evasion case against the flamboyant businesswoman.
The case that has been in court for the past few months has been dropped this morning according to the reports that we have with us.
Billionaire Mary Wambui who was charged alongside her daughter who is known as Purity Mungai have something to smile about the new year.
The reports intimate that the two will now be free of the charges of tax evasion that had been levelled against them by The State.
Mary Wambui was recently appointed by President William Ruto to serve as the head of the Communications Authority of Kenya.
The latest move by the court puts into perspective the way in which cases have been dropped in the past few months.
