Kitui County governor Charity Ngilu has today accompanied other county bosses in meeting with the former Prime Minister and ODM party leader Raila Odinga un a consultative meeting that has been conducted in Naivasha.
While delivering her speech, Ngilu has sounded an early warning to Kenyans to choose their presidential leader carefully due to the danger that may arise if they settle on the Deputy President William Ruto.
According to Ngilu, the second in command has always been against the supporting the implementation as well as the amendment of the constitution at all times.
"Anybody else pretending to want to take this country to the next level I can only say I know. There's one person who over the years never supported the constitution not when they tried in 2005, not in 2010 and even now when we wanted to amend it in 2021. And it's somebody must forever be always wanting to do things that are not right for this country. I want to ask Kenyans to be warned that there's a danger in electing one person and that's William Samoei Ruto," said governor Ngilu.
