Former Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko who is eying the Mombasa gubernatorial seat has been making headlines more often than not after declaring his bid. Kenyans have continued to express mixed reactions following his decision to be in the political race.
Today, Sonko has been made headlines on social media but not because of politics. This time a lady who sought anonymity alleged that she sired a child with the seasoned politician but later neglected his responsibility. The lady through an affidavit demanded that Sonko should pay for monthly upkeep which amounted to about Ksh 450, 000.
This evening, Sonko has taken to his social media pages and stated that he was ready to take care of the kid. However, he maintained that he was not sure that he was the father to the kid. That not withstanding, he made it clear that he would act as a parent to the child.
