DP Ruto Comes Up With a New Strategy To Guard His Mt Kenya Votes

The Deputy President of Kenya, William Ruto, and his UDA party have rethought their strategy in order to increase their chances of winning votes in the Mt. Kenya region. They claim that these techniques were successful for them in previous elections that they ran in. This comes after Azimio la Umoja announced that Martha Karua would be their running mate earlier today.

They reportedly seek to get a polling station plan, as reported by K24, according to the sources. They will reach out to people on a more local level this way and ensure that they have supporters at each and every polling station. On election day, the supporters will assist in the campaigning for the candidate as well as the guarding of the votes.

The second thing is defending the areas that are thought to be their strongholds, such as Kandara, Mathira, Kiharu, and others. That in those places, they will make an effort to persuade independent candidates as well as those who were defeated in the primaries to back UDA candidates. That in the event that they do, positions will be made available to them should the UDA win the elections.

They will also have ground mobilizers such as Anne Waiguru, Alice Wahome, and Mutahi Kahiga, along with other leaders, who will make sure that they campaign to their full potential for the party.
