United Democratic Alliance party which is associated with deputy president William Ruto has been regularly receiving politicians from various political parties; these include Jubilee, ODM, and KANU, among others.
In a major blow to deputy president William Ruto today, over seventy United Democratic Alliance (UDA) members resigned and intentionally joined Kenya Africa National Union (KANU), affiliated with OKA leader Gideon Moi.
Sources claim that the seventy leaders were highly welcomed by the KANU Chairman in Nakuru County, who in turn made them ambassadors of KANU across the country.
KANU party is now gaining momentum ahead of August general elections, and it is a major loss for the deputy president William Samoei Ruto and the UDA party as a whole.
