Five Coastal Senators have announced their political stand ahead of the 2022 General elections. The five Senators who include Mohamed Faki(Mombasa), Issa Juma(Kwale), Jones Mwanaruma(Taita Taveta) and Stewart Madzayo (Kilifi) have stated that they are in the ODM party to stay.
The senators have assured Orange Democratic Movement leader Raila Odinga that they will embark on the the exercise to market Orange Democratic Movement Party in all corners of the region to make it popular.
Senator Issa Juma revealed that Ruto political influence has changed in the region and he should not use the Mswambweni by elections as a tool for his influence in the region. Juma stated that ODM popularity is still intact in the region.
Juma has also warned politicians who have been visiting Kwale and Coast region in the name of campaigns telling them they will be shocked in 2022.
"You can't take this to the bank, Politicians who keep visiting the Coast are in for a rude shock", Juma stated.
