The Kimilili member of parliament has vowed to quit politics next week if the following happens in the Bungoma senatorial by election. However this might not be the case by he has expressed confidence in the just concluded voting process.
According to him in his twitter account, he has thanked the people of Bungoma county for the peaceful senatorial by election that has been witnessed today. He has however stated that for Ford Kenya party candidate David Wakoli Wafula it's high time he starts preparing for his victory and to be sworn in. 
Adding to that he has vowed to quit politics from next week if Hon David Wakoli Wafula will be defeated in the just ended voting process. The counting of the votes is yet to start but they have displayed high confidence. However earlier Hon Wafula Wamunyinyi had alleged rigging from the opponents side asking for a free and fair election.
