Opinion;Why ODM Party Is Likely To Lose In Some Of Its Major Strongholds Counties

2022 general election has coherently gained momentum, various aspirants have expressed their political bid for different positions.

The political tune keeps on changing on a daily basis,even though many aspirants have expressed their political quest for the top most seat in the country,but its envisagely stands out as for the two horses race between former prime minister Raila Odinga and deputy president William Ruto.

Apparently as the election countdown draws near, Orange Democratic Movement party (ODM),will be experiencing difficult uphill task in some of its major strongholds counties such as Siaya, Homabay,Migori and Kisumu that might eventually cost it or end up losing political base in those regions.

Consequently as far as election is concerned, eyeing at Homabay gubernatorial race it is very clear to envisage that most of the candidates will be aiming at the ODM party ticket.

Starting from the Homabay ODM party chairman Gladys Wanga,ODM party chairman nation wide hon John Mbadi,former Nairobi governor and staunch member of ODM party Evans Kidero and many others, which some of them will not be happy with the final result and end up looking for alternatives after the nominations.

Again in Siaya county there will also be a stiff competition between, Raila's long time loyalist and a great friend James Orengo,former Mp Rarieda constituency James Gumbo, former police spokesperson James Owino who also has a massive influence in the area and defender of Raila's ideologies.

In Migori county that is turning out to be the hotspot he will be forced to chose between the will of the people and personal friendship that is,hon Ochilo Ayacko senator Migori,Omondi Edick Anyanga former Mp Nyatike constituency,John Pesa,Dalmas Otieno former Mp Rongo,Pamela Odhiambo women representative Migori county.

Raila Odinga as ODM party leader will be torn into making right decision, however some aspirants will be discontented and resolute to other options after the party primaries,which will eventually interfere with Baba's political influence in the regions.
