"Raila is a Wise Politician..." Experts Reveal Raila's Secret Plan That is Helping him do This

Experts have revealed that the announcement by wealthy businessman Jimmy Wanjigi that he is aiming for an ODM ticket to run for the 2022 presidency is a cover-up to ensure Raila Odinga gets a share of the region's six million votes.

Mr Wanjigi seems unmoved in what he claims is his ambition to enter the House on the Hill and has repeatedly reiterated that he will fight for the ODM ticket, hoping to oust Mr Odinga.

Initially, Jimmy Wanjigi who is no stranger to Kenyan politics and is believed to have played a key role in securing a political marriage between President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy Dr William Ruto ahead of the 2013 general election.

After clashing with the two, he turned to Mr Odinga's side in the 2017 election, allegedly using his heavy pockets to fund the campaign of the politician who is aiming to run for a fifth term.

However, Mr Wanjigi's conduct, especially after holding meetings in Nakuru and Nyeri with members of the ODM, insisting that he was in the polls, indicated that his main intention was not to run for the presidency but to help ‘Baba’ penetrate the mountain.

Second, it is clear that claiming that he will fight for an ODM ticket and defeat Mr Odinga is impossible.

This is because Mr Odinga is an ODM and nothing in the party can go on without his consent and his allies do not even take Mr Wanjingi's intention seriously. .

Where will he find enough delegates to pass him against Mr Odinga during the ODM General Assembly to approve the presidential candidate?

It is worth reminding Mr Wanjigi that towards the 2013 elections, Musalia Mudavadi and his group led by leaders from the West visited several counties after the Vice President announced that he would oppose Mr Odinga during the ODM by-elections.

However, it forced Mr Mudavadi and some of his local politicians led by Vihiga Senator George Khaniri to leave ODM and form the United Democrati Forum (UDF).

Mr Mudavadi appeared to have a majority of supporters who supported him against Mr Odinga in the ODM, but his wing felt early on that there would be no democracy and the election would be disrupted.
