Taking to his official social media handle on Saturday night, the youthful politician claims there are some insincere leaders currently trying to 'hijack' the process of identifying Ruto's best running mate.

He argues that the group from Mt Kenya mainly those aspiring for governors are pushing the DP to the corner yet majority of them have not unveiled their running mates also.

The claims by the UDA politician comes even as the country is still glued on television and social media pages waiting for the much hyped announcement.

Former Kiambu Governor William Kabogo who is also eyeing to reclaim the seat had posted in his social media handle earlier that Kenyans should be ready for a run off.

Dr Ruto had through his confidants announced that today(Saturday) was the day to unveiled his running mate that will seek for the country's top job in the upcoming general elections slated for August.

Kenyans are still hoping that the announcement will be made anytime from the time of publication of this article.
