He will be vying for the presidency using his Wheelbarrow Party famed United Democratic Alliance, (UDA). Initially, the UDA party was formerly the Party of Development and Reform and later changed its name in accordance with the Political Parties Act.
As politics realignments take shape ahead of the 2022 General Elections, the United Democratic Alliance has been holding crucial meeting with stakeholders as it seeks to popularise itself in the country.
As the party advocates for the empowerment of ordinary citizens and not power-sharing that only benefits a few individuals,it held a meeting with Mama Mawe group. This group composed of hardworking women who brave the cold, heat and harsh perceptions by the roadside as they look for cleaning jobs in Nairobi Estates had visited United Democratic Alliance party headquarters on 21st September.
The group sought an explanation on how the bottom-up economic model will improve their hustles, in a candid discussion with party officials.
On the process, the party leadership led by it's Secretary General Veronica Maina encouraged it's supporters in various sectors to engage it as they work towards the formation of an all-inclusive government that will prioritize the needs of ordinary citizens at the bottom of the economic pyramid.
