Chebukati Reports The Arrival Of The First Batch Of Ballot Papers.

With only 32 days to the August general elections, politicians have been crisscrossing different regions in search of votes.

The two formidable coalitions, Kenya Kwanza and Azimio One Kenya have raised political temperatures in the country over the past months and especially as the day draws nearer.

Today, the chairman of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission Wafula Chebukati has as assured Kenyans that elections will be peaceful and that there will be no rigging of votes. He has further shared the good news that the first batch of ballot papers has landed in the country and they are well sealed.

This is a sign of recourse to many politicians, especially from the Azimio One Kenya who had claimed in their rallies yesterday that, Wafula Chebukati should come out clearly and explain the extent of preparation that the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission has put in place.

He has further clarified that the ballot papers that are expected to land in the country will be exactly enough for all the registered votes and all will be received via JKIA.
