A section of United Democratic Alliance lawyers have opposed the Parliamentary Tuesday Special sitting.
The lawyers who some of them joined UDA recently have stated that the Tuesday special sitting is designed to lock out most of the Mps allied to the Deputy President William Ruto because Parliament was in it's third week of recess.
UDA's Legal Affairs Secretary Edward Muriu has said that the definition of a political party can not be ammended without ammending the constitution.
The Law Society of Kenya Nelsin Havi who joined the Ruto's camp recently has urged all the UDA affiliated Mps to oppose the bill.
He has also hinted at going to the court if the bill is discussed and approved.
The United Democratic Alliance Secretary General Veronica Maina has also questioned the timing of the special sitting urging that the Speaker should reschedule the sitting until most members are present in the house.
Garissa Town Member of Parliament has also said that most of the clauses in the bill are unconstitutional.
