"Even Nehemiah faced opposition when he was building the walls of Jerusalem. Tobias and San Balat were against his ideas but in the end, Nehemiah emerged victorious regardless of all the threats from Tobias and San Balat," Ruti said.

"I hope by now you are seeing who is Tobias and who is Nehemiah, learn to differentiate the two," Dp added hilariously.

Here, Ruto figuratively referred to the ODM leader and his battalion as Tobias as they are all against his bottom-up economy.

Dp Ruto also reminded his supporters that even the bible directs humans to decide who will lead them through voting.

"Voting is your right. Even the bible allows that and it is even written that the best way of deciding who will lead you, especially in a democratic country like Kenya is through one man one vote," Ruto reinforced.

Jomvu residents were also advised to remain united as politics are temporary events.
