ODM leader Raila Amollo Odinga is highly rated in forthcoming elections that will be held on 9th of August next year. On the other hand his opponent William Samoe Ruto who is vying through UDA party is also rated, this bring a tight competition between the two. The final decision will be made by Kenyans when that day arrive. Raila Odinga might only beat William Ruto if he avoid the following;
1.) Appointing his running mate from Nyanza/Western
Former Prime minister is yet to appoint his Assistant and it's expected to appoint on 9th December this year. In order for him to balance his support he should appoint a leader either from Mt Kenya or Central Central regions. The moment he mistakenly appoint Western or Nyanza ally, then it will huge blow to his side.
2.) Ignoring his Supporters Chaos
Supporters especially from strongholds portray the real mirror of their candidate and even the kind of leader he might give when elected. Chaotic incidents like the one witnessed in Kisumu against Ruto, might depreciate the power of Odinga hence giving his opponent huge boost over him. As leader, Raila should drum up peace and harmony for better campaigns and election.
