
Professor Makau Mutua a close ally to Raila has this afternoon met the full wrath of angry Kenyans on Twitter after he posted fake commodity prices. Makua who served Azimio coalition as the spokesperson of the Raila Odinga 2022 presidential campaign team attached a list of several products with their prices.
Makau’s post was targeting Kenyans urging them to revolt and join Azimio rallies on Monday.

Makau Mutua on Thursday posted exaggerated prices of basic commodities such as Maize flour, Cooking Oil, Electricity tokens and other products. For example, Makau stated that Maize flour is retailing at sh230 compared to the previous price of sh108.
He also priced a 1itre cooking oil at sh1200 compared to the previous price of sh800 for a liter of cooking oil.

Kenyans quickly attacked the politician with majority using the famous phrase, ‘watu si wajinga buana’ loosely translated to (People are not foolish).
