Presidential results to be released at the Bomas of Kenya, two Presidential candidates arrive at the venue

As verification of presidential results came to an end, the Independent Electoral and Boundaries commission (IEBC) led by chairman Wafula Chebukati is expected to release the presidential results today on Monday, 15th August as preparations ongoing.

The earliest candidate to be spotted at the building was Agano party presidential candidate David Mwaure Wahiga. On Sunday 14th Wahiga had conceded defeat following tallying of the presidential results by IEBC.

The second to be spotted was the Roots party presidential candidate Prof. George Wajackoyah. While Mr Mwaure conceded defeat, Prof Wajackoyah said he was confident of a win in the polls, even when both candidates are trailing Deputy President William Ruto and Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition candidate Raila Odinga.

While addressing the public, Mwaure said that he was willing to endorse UDA candidate since their manifestos are alike. As Chebukati expected to declare the winner of 2022 general elections presidential results call has been called to all Kenyans to maintain peace and to remain calm.
