Tangatanga MPs Over The Moon as UDA Candidate Clinches London Ward Seat (Photos)

Tangatanga MPs were captured beating the drum following Anthony Nzuki Wachira's victory in the just concluded London Ward by-elections in Nakuru.

Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika took to social media to express her gratitude to residents for coming out in large number to exercise their democratic rights despite the brouhaha witnessed during the voting process. 

"Congratulations ANTHONY NZUKI WACHIRA on your election as the MCA London Ward in Nakuru County. To the great people of London, we thank you for coming out to vote despite intimidation and police brutality. God bless you all," she noted.

Taking to social media, Elgeyo Markwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen also shared heartfelt joy and went on to thank residents for expressing their support by voting Wachira in. 

The election was however characterized by hubbub and ruckus after a group of rowdy youths attacked Lang'ata MP Nixon Korir. There was running battles between police officers and a section of Tangatanga MPs who had gone to monitor and safeguard Wachira's votes.
