The current MCA of Karina Ward Reuben Wahome is dead. The politician is said to to have died while undergoing treatment at the M.t Kenya Hospital in Nyeri county. This was his first term in the office.
According to The Standard, Hon Reuben Wahome has been hospitalized for two weeks at Oustpan Hospital before he was transferred to Mt. Kenya Hospital at 10:30 pm on Sunday. The illness that led to the death of Wahome is not yet disclosed.
Nyeri County Assembly Speaker, John Kaguchia confirmed the death of Wahome and he eulogize that Wahome was a dedicated leader who will be dearly missed.
This is a really sad news to the family of Reuben Wahome, his friends, relatives and the people of Karima ward to lose a leader at time like this. May his sole rest in eternal peace
