Three days ago President William Samoei Ruto appointed his Cabinet Secretaries. He announced that the Amani National Congress leader Musalia Mudavadi will be the Prime Cabinet Minister. President Ruto went ahead to reveal the roles of Mudavadi. He will be assisting the President and his Deputy in the coordination and supervision of Government Ministries and State Departments among many other roles.

According to a political analyst Mr. Amos Mokua, the roles given to Mudavadi were under the office of the Deputy President. Mokua went ahead and indicated that although President William Ruto made it clear on the roles of each of them there might be supremacy battles.
It should be noted that as per the Constitution the DP, deputises the Head of State in the execution of his agendas for the country.
