Starehe Constituency Arrested Over Missing Ballot Boxes

Kenyans are excitedly awaiting the declaration of the presidential election results, and all eyes are now on IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati, who has asserted that all systems are protected from rumors of hacking. According to a number of publications, William Ruto of the Kenya Kwanza Alliance and Raila Amolo Odinga of Azimio la Umoja are in a close battle for the presidency.

Numerous things have transpired while tallying is still going on that are blatantly against the IEBC code of conduct's norms and regulations. According to Nation Africa, an IEBC official has allegedly been detained for missing ballot boxes, and there are now allegations of results tampering in connection with the incident.

After Azimio coalition leaders led by Edwin Sifuna, Maina Kamanda, and Rachel Shebesh attacked the Starehe constituency tallying center over a delay in releasing results, the deputy returning officer for that district was discovered to be the victim. According to reports, there were plans to rig the results in favor of some unidentified candidates, and they are now asking that the results be made public as soon as possible. In the meantime, the returning officer requested extra time to address the problem before making the results public.
