Kenyans have overwhelmingly joined Nyeri County deputy governor HE Caroline Karugu in mourning the death of one of her closest childhood friends whom she has said she has always held dear in her heart.
Through her Facebook page, madam Karugu has noted that she met the Kate while still young girl since they went to the same Catholic church (St Charles Lwaga) in Nyaribo area.
She has given a past history of the two if them noting that the late used to help her get a chair in church since she was still young and that made her get really close to him.
"I admired his genuine love for God, his charisma and commitment to church. He was ever jovial, zealous gentleman who vigorously played the kayamba and would often help me find a seat,"part of her message reads.
She has also noted that the late followed her each and every life's milestone by documenting them together. He also collected newspaper cuttings, framed and displayed them in his restaurant located in local shopping center.
Below are some of the Kenyans who have joined her in mourning.
"Its painful may his soul rest in eternal peace but it is more painful to note that AT TIMES GOODNESS DOES NOT PAY IN THIS LIFE BUT MAYBE AFTERLIFE."@Alfred Kibet
