The former prime minister Raila Odinga has described the independent electoral and boundaries commission chairman Wafula chebukati as a criminal who should be prosecuted and sentenced to jail following his role in the august presidential election.
Speaking to citizen TV on Tuesday, Raila who lost his firth stab at the presidency to William Ruto Accused chebukati of committing a crime against humanity.
“In my view, Mr Chebukati is a criminal who should be prosecuted and sentenced to jail. What he has committed is a great crime against the humanity and people of this country,” said Raila.
He said instead of the four commissioners(Juliana Cherera Francis Wanderi, Irene masit and Justus Nyangaya, it's chebukati who should be in the docks
According to the azimio la umoja coalition party leader, the campaign Period was okay and even voting except the vote-rigging which was rampant at Bomas.
His sentiments have elicited reactions from netizens with a majority telling him off for failing to clearly explain how rigging took place.
