President William Ruto has to be the smartest politician Kenya has had or seen since independence.Every move he makes is always calculated and aimed at keeping him a step ahead of his opponents.Take for instance the recent visits and developments he is making to regions that did not vote for him in last year's elections. If you take a clear insight into this you will realise that Ruto is visiting these regions that did not vote for him to get on their good side. His intention is to convince them he loves them just as much as the other regions.Managing to have followers and supporters from these regions will be key for his re election bid come 2027.All he needs is to get more votes in these regions in 2027 than he did last year and maintain those he had in his strongholds to rule for a second term.Even if some regions leave him in 2027,he will not suffer as these regions will be able to make up for the losses.
