Irungu Kang'ata Speaks on Reports from The Star About Provisional Presidential Results

As the Independent Electoral Boundary Commission perpetuates to accomplish tallying of votes and verification of ballot papers, both Kenya Kwanza Alliance and Azimio La Umoja, one coalition allies have have on their sides been making numerous predictions on whom they strongly believe and anticipate is going to be announced as the next president of Kenya.

In the latest polls that have surfaced online, IEBC has shown that William Ruto has beaten Raila badly leaving a gap of about a hundred thousand votes.

With Ruto leading with 7,152, 655 votes, and Raila trailing at, 6, 942, 708 votes, a number of Kenya Kwanza allies have began sharing their positive sentiments online.

Among them is Muranga's new gubernatorial-elect, Honourable Irungu Kangata. Through a Twitter post, the politician alleged that the nostalgia for presidency is done and Ruto is the new commander in chief.

"Congratulation his Excellency Dr. William Ruto. It's done!," he penned down.

Meanwhile, it's advisable not to believe in Irungu's sentiments as only the Independent Electoral Boundaries Commission has the powers to declare the next president.

Good still, the politician's claims comes at a time that the IEBC has only announced the overall results of 272 constituency out of 290, meaning that 18 other constituencies votes haven't been verified nor undergone official tallying.
