Latest Opinion Poll Results Showing The Preferred Gubernatorial Aspirant In West Pokot County

As the race to 2022 takes shape, different political leaders are working hard to ensure they win their desired seats. Moreover, different companies are carrying out their opinion poll and releasing them to Kenyans. The latest this afternoon is from Mizani Africa about West Pokot County.

In the results, the former governor Simon Kachapin, who wants to reclaim his seat and the current John Lonyangapuo, who wants to retain are competing neck to neck. However, Kachapin is leading with 48.8% while Lonyangapuo is second with 48.2%. The third aspirant is Nicholas Atudonyang who was the absentee deputy governor with 1.8%

It should be remembered that Lonyangapuo and Kachapin are from the two political rivals Azimio la Umoja and Kenya Kwanza respectfully. Kapuchin also said that the residents have seen the difference between the two governors and can make a decision based on their performance.

This comes on the day when Azimio la Umoja brigade have taken their rally in the county. They have gone to woo residents to vote for them. This is a day after they had a bad day in Uasin Gishu county.
