"We Have Noticed We Are Moving Slowly", Says Chebukati

Wafula Chebukati has recently stated that they have realized that they are not progressing as quickly as they had anticipated and that they have mentioned that they have noticed this. He went on to say that the entire process of calculating votes for the presidency ought to be finished as quickly as humanly possible.

"We have noticed that we are not going as quickly as we should; therefore, this activity should be completed as soon as possible," Chebukati said. "We have noted that we are not going as quickly as we should."

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) made further presidential election results public on Friday morning, August 12.

Late on Thursday night, more than 48 hours after polls had closed, the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) began tallying the results of the presidential election at the national tallying center in Bomas, which is located in Nairobi.

The chairman of the IEBC, Wafula Chebukati, addressed the press and announced the second verified results for the seats of Baringo Central, Ol Jorok, Katheani, and Kangundo, respectively. Lamu East was also included in this announcement.

The Kenyan people are currently holding their breath as they anticipate the announcement of the country's next president.
