According to Malala, it's clear Raila has taught other leaders a lesson that you can lose an election but still join government. He has given an example of how Odinga lost in 2017 but finally joined government through the handshake.
Malala is clear western Kenya community will only be respected if Musalia Mudavadi stands come the 2022 general election. He is clear as a community they must have their own at the ballot moving into the 2022 general election for they cannot back Raila anymore.
Malala is clear he will fight tooth and nail to ensure Mudavadi doesn't back off out of the presidential race whether to win or lose. Malala has remained clear of his plans to ensure come 2022 they are in government as partners or as part and parcel of those who formed it. He has rubbished claims that he is pushing Mudavadi for his own personal gain in Kakamega governorship race.
