Running Mate to deputy president William Ruto Rigathi Gachagua continues to campaign for Ruto in the vast Mt Kenya region. His main aim is to see that the deputy president ascends to the top seat so that Mt Kenya can benefit the most.
Today Gachagua took his campaigns to Laikipia where he met hundreds of people and urged them to vote for Ruto. In his speech, Gachagua slammed all those that have been criticizing him saying he will not buy fear or intimidation. The Mathira MP said he does not eat at anyone's home and therefore no one can intimidate him. He then promised the people of Mt Kenya that the coming government will be theirs. Gachagua then said that although he supports the deputy president, his heart will forever be in Mt Kenya.
"Si mnajua Mimi sinunui uwoga? Si Mimi ni mtu wa Mau Mau na mimi sikuli Kwa mtu. Hii watu wa Mau Mau hii serikali inakuja ni yenu. It is your government. Na ndio Niko hapo. Hata kama nasaidia William Ruto kuongoza Kenya si mnajua pahali roho yangu iko? Si mnajua mahali iko?" Gachagua said.
