Nairobi residents have been the most affected by the curfew regulations due to frequent jams experienced during the rush hour periods. sources on the ground allege that the police officers have now blocked the Waiyaki way since the curfew time has elapsed.

Concerned Kenyans have raised concerns over the unfortunate actions of the police officers who claim that they have received orders from above.

@BettyCheotooR POLICE have blocked WAIYAKI WAY saying that orders from above that KENYANS should spend a night in the vehicles! @bonifacemwangi @RobertAlai @OleItumbi https://t.co/e51CSHbSvm

@the_sambu All lanes on Thika road closed since 8pm, No essential services till 4am in the Morning. "ORDERS from Above " says the commandant https://t.co/3O65nXJnGo

It is very sad for hardworking Kenyans to be denied the opportunity to head to their homes since the curfew time has elapsed. They will have to spend the cold night in their vehicles.
