The Deputy President William Ruto has become a punching bag where every leader is directing his or her frustrations and missiles. He has been a lone man after he opposed the BBI against Uhuru who is his boss and Raila Odinga. His move made him to be alienated from the government to a point where his junior have been directing missiles on his bottom up economic approach.
The recent attack from his junior was when CS Mucheru said that the DP's economic model is unsustainable. "Telling a youth to push a Wheelbarrow in the 21st century is an insult." The CS said a few weeks ago. However, the CS seems to be retracting his words after his statements did not blend well with the public. He has said that he has no problem with the deputy president Ruto. "I have nothing against the Deputy President even though there may exist some ideological differences."
