Fireworks have a few minutes ago been witnessed in the national assembly after speaker Moses Wetang'ula has clashed with ODM MP Opiyo Wandayi.
The issue began when Wandayi went against the rules of the house to introduce things that were not part of the motion of the day.
He literally chose to bring up the matter pertaining the ouster of Sabina Chege from her position something that didn't end well for him.
"I did write to you on behalf of the minority coalition informing you of the decision of the coalition to remove the honorable Sabina Chege (Wetang'ula says order honorable Wandayi)," said honorable Wandayi.
Wetang'ula quickly stopped Wandayi from proceeding with his remarks to focus on the topic of the hour as his utterances were going against the order of how motions are discussed in parliament.
The speaker even reminded Wandayi that he was a senior ranking legislator having served for many years hence the need to abide by parliament's rules.
"I've told you let's deal with the order that has been called. You know honorable Wandayi you are a senior. We've called for papers order number five. So when the hansard shows that order number five when we call for papers you stood up to say what you are saying will not look orderly at all," responded speaker Moses Wetang'ula.
