Fresh Headache to Raila After a Section of ODM Leadership Make New Demands Ahead of 2022

Former prime minister and Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga will have to nurse a fresh headache following a meeting by politicians allied to Raila from Western Kenya.

These leaders issued a number of conditions to the party leader for them to support him in the 2022 presidential race where he is one of the big contestants.

From the meeting, these leaders had several grievances they wanted Raila to address if truly he is banking on their huge support in 2022.

The main condition was that Raila to pick Kakamega governor Wycliffe Oparanya as his running mate in 2022.

This comes just days after the same happened in Murang'a county where kikuyu's endorsed former presidential aspirant Peter Kenneth as Raila's running mate.

This puts Raila in dilemma of where to choose as he has interests in both regions and choosing from one means votes loss on the other side.

These demands may slow his campaign trail which has seen him get accepted countrywide recently.

What do you think?
