International Human Right Foundation Leaves Kenyans Talking After Their Remarks On Kenyan Elections

President-elect William Ruto after he was announced as the next president of Kenya by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission, many dignitaries and leaders from across the world had something to say.

They showered him with praises for winning the top seat in the 2022 general elections. However, some Kenyans especially the followers of Raila Odinga are yet to come to terms with their loss. They have vowed not to recognize Ruto's win and decided to find 'justice' at the Supreme Court.

Nevertheless, International bodies are still congratulating DP William Ruto for the win and some Kenyans are not happy at all. The latest international body to congratulate Mr Ruto is the International Human Rights Foundation which has now acknowledge his win. Here is what they had to say.

"The official scrutiny made by the electoral authorities of Kenya point out that 50% of all votes went to His Excellency Dr. William Samoei Ruto who has been proclaimed the president elect. It is the time for peace, unity, democratic respect and peaceful coexistence." Part of their statement reads.

" The results of the Kenyan elections are clear and verified by the electoral authority (IEBC Kenya) which has proclaimed William Samoei Ruto as President-elect. Let's trust in the constitutional system and the rule of law. Out of democratic responsible, Mr Raila Odinga should concede.
