"It Wasn't Our Wish" Ex-Governor Ndiritu Muriithi Speaks About Azimio Rallies, Sends Message to Ruto

Former Laikipia Governor Ndiritu Muriithi is among political leaders allied to the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance, and who attended the camp's 'consultative forum' led by Raila Odinga and Martha Karua as Kamukunji Grounds today, December 7th.
In his speech, Muriithi argued that it was not the wish of the Azimio leaders to protest and point out on the ills of President William Ruto's government, but since he had not delivered on his agenda and manifesto, they had to speak out.
"It was not our wish to start criticizing this government, we had decided to give them 100 days because they had said that within that time they would have reduced the cost of living, prices of unga and fuel, but such commodities have been increasing in price."
"They had stopped CDF, social protection and even Linda Mama. That is the reason we are here today so that we can remind them that the sovereign power belongs to the people."
Ndiritu further told Ruto and his cabinet to stop complaining and instead deliver to Kenyans since they are the ones in office, and in particular ensure that the cost of living reduces to make life bearable for Kenyans.
