While being interviewed on Monday morning by Citizen TV, the controversial Member of Parliament wondered how he could have gotten to Naivasha just to watch cars.
In an indirect manner, the MP has told off those who went and in this case it seems like he was telling off president Uhuru Kenyatta, Raila Odinga and other big boys who attended the event.
He disclosed that he was busy in his constituency attending to more important issues and that he is not a sycophantic politician who does things simply because the president is doing them.
Kimani Ichungwa, MP, Kikuyu, "Safari rally is good for global positioning & tourism, just because the president is somewhere does not mean you drop other things & line up behind him. Being patriotic does not mean supporting the president, it means supporting the country #DayBreak"https://t.co/0OI7r0n7aH
On his part, Narok county senator Ledama Ole Kina has also revealed that he never went to Naivasha and that he spent his time in his Narok county trying to create wealth for his people.
Ledama Olekina, Senator, Narok, "I was not in Naivasha neither did I follow proceedings. COVID-19 is real & the rally was a super spreader event. I enjoyed spending time with my constituents. Kenya & Kenyans have more things to worry about"DayBreak
