President William Ruto must exercise caution in appointing a commission to look into the previous administration, according to Attorney General Justin Muturi. Such a measure, in Muturi's opinion, might be politically unpopular and bad since it might be viewed through the prism of retaliation.
The Attorney General acknowledges that the nation's democracy is precarious and that pursuing Uhuru would be a bad move. The AG does acknowledge that the optimum course of action is to have a commission of investigation into Uhuru Kenyatta.
It's a fact that during the August 9th polls, the president, Campaigned on the platform of forming a Commission of inquiry. The idea which is being pushed by Rigathi Gachagua and other Kenya Kwanza leaders seems to have been abandoned.
Gachagua and Muturi however admits that leaders who engaged in corrupt practices must face the law. It's a fact that some leaders attempted a Coup and must be punished.
