According to Mizani polls, Charles Keter would have garnared 36.5 percent of the total polls against Dr. Mutaila who follows closely with 26.1 percent and Fred Kirui who comes third with 17.4 percent, Dr. Lily Ngock with 10.1 percent, professor James Sang with 6.4 percent and others shared 3.5 percent.
￼Charles Keter has been in leadership of the region since he was first elected a member of Parliament for Belgut. He was later voted as the senator for the County before picked by president Uhuru's government to the Energy Ministry.
Keter will be seeking to succeed Kericho Governor professor Paul Kiprono Chepkwony who is serving his second and last term in the office.
If Keter managed to win against all his competitors, he will be the second governor of the County .
