Ruto Burning His Own House? DP Ruto's Controversial Announcement That Has Caused a Debate Online

With about ten months remaining to next year's general elections, different politicians have continued to drive the political axis to a point I may refer to as 'win or lose' resulting to high temperatures among Kenyans who are perceived to be the main characters in chosing the same leaders.

The race to replace His Excellency President Uhuru Kenyatta seems to be the most popular in the country as a number of political bigwigs have already started the operation of casting their political nets deep to different areas/regions in pursuit of fetching voters ahead of 2022.

Deputy President William Samoei Ruto took his Hustler Nation conversation to Laikipia county today where he addressed a mammoth of residents who excitedly showed up for his speech. While speaking, he filtered out several happenings in the leading government as he drummed support for his popular Bottom-Up Economic Model.

He made harsh criticisms about the reigning government accusing it of not concerned about the life of ordinary Kenyans. With that, he added that a section of top officials have joined hands and are now meeting in high-profile hotels in Kenya's capital city to discuss and decide who will be the next president.

He the backed his Hustler Nation narrative terming it the best to solve problems affecting the country while pointing guns to the alleged few powerful individuals who are busy discussing 2022 politics in hotels.

Kenyans have now ignited a debate online following Deputy President William Ruto's announcements today. A section of them have questioned his inputs in the government for the past nine years since he became the deputy president of Kenya.

Others have also weighed his sentiments claiming that he should stop criticizing the leading government because he is also inclusive and drive the discourse to grounds of solving the problems affecting the country especially unemployment.

Could this be a clear indication that the deputy president is demolishing the political house where he is currently sheltering? What are your thoughts?
