Political leaders have now taken a new step towards the 2022 general election as they bid to lure their Supporters to vote for them. Building bridges initiative has now created a new Political strategy after the electrol body paved way for the referendum. This will go through if it is supported by 24 counties our of the 47 counties we have. President Uhuru Kenyatta initially hold a meeting with the people of mount Kenya in a bid to lure them to support the BBI. This was after the letter from Senator of Muranga Irungu Kangata showed that out of eight people you will find one or two supporting the BBI.

According to deputy secretary general of Jubilee he said that he fully support the BBI project and he agree that the Senator of Muranga ( Irungu Kangata) was right. He said that the way he address the letter to president was only wrong. According to senator Kangata he said that he had nothing to do with the letter he wrote, simply because the letter he posted to president Uhuru and the majority leader, Samwel Pogisho. He said that he had nothing to say how the letter reached the media. He called upon president Uhuru Kenyatta to strengthen his efforts towards BBI so that he would make his legacy great.

Raila Odinga faced a rough time also while addressing his supporters while in Githurai market where it was disrupted by the youths who heckled Ruto’s name. Police officer had to use tiagus to cool down the situation after people started looting the shops of the people.
