"Jubilee is in Shambles" Raila Told After Stating That Kieleweke MPs Will Attend His Event on Friday

The Speaker of the National Assembly Justin Muturi has claimed that the Jubilee Party has disintegrated, and no one can rely on it for an elective post come next year.

According to Muturi, the ruling party has no structures and the officials manning it since 2017 were handpicked as the top officials did not conduct a National Delegates Conference (NDC) as well as grassroot elections.

"I have chosen the Democratic Party (DP) because the Jubilee party is in shambles. Do not bury your head in the sand, it is evident that the party cannot be viable ahead of next year. I have however had a long engagement with the DP, and that is my home," posed Muturi.

Speaking on Citizen TV on Monday, the 2022 presidential aspirant revealed that he did not consult President Uhuru Kenya while declaring his presidential ambitions, on claims that the head of state is delivering his services to Kenyans.

Muturi's remarks comes hours after the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga revealed that his mega Azimio La Umoja meeting in Kasarani on Friday will be attended by a section of Jubilee party delegates alongside those of ODM and his supporters.

It has been reported that the delegates will unite as a contribution of the Jubilee-ODM coalition and endorse Raila as their joint presidential candidate.
